Nuovo Record Derailleur

Nuovo Record Derailleur

Nuovo Record was introduced at the Milan Show in 1967. Production likely began a year before, in 1966. It was intended as the evolution of the Record, as it was made from aluminum alloy in order to be lighter. This item features a reversed method of attaching the tension spring, with the spring cover also serving as a stopper. The marking on the upper body reads “Patent Campagnolo” and the pulley has 9 teeth. The model in this the photo is the first version ever, which includes its original and super rare first box with no logo and complete with an instruction leaflet.

In case you want to dive deep in Campagnolo vintage, discover the book Campagnolo Collection, a celebration of the Campagnolo legend that has left an indelible mark on cycling history - and beyond. 208 pages with more than 500 detailed pictures.
